My artwork is fun, careless and unserious. As a contemporary artist with almost 20 years of painting and the creation of artwork behind me, I’ve been through the stages of taking one’s self seriously and have been able to leave it behind. It’s liberating and allows me to explore my subjects and my artistic style with a greater degree of freedom. I am not confined by traditional standards of form or colour. I, and my art, are purely me and me alone. The “Evil Kittens” are possibly the best example of this. Playful and cheeky, they represent a heightened expression of life.
